About Jess
Jess Sherman a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner and a Certified Functional Nutrition Practitioner, Board Certified by The Canadian Association of
Holistic Nutrition Professionals (CAHN-pro). She specializes in pediatric and family nutrition with a particular emphasis on helping parents find nutritional solutions to mood, behavior and learning struggles like ADHD, anxiety, anger and aggression. Jess is also the author of Raising Resilience: Take the stress out of feeding your family & love your life and is the creator of the Resilient Kids Collective, The Roadmap To Resilient Kids, and the Calm & Clear Kids program.
Jess has completed extra training in herbal medicine, biomedical approaches to autism spectrum disorders and ADHD, functional medicine, functional testing, nutritional supplements, the Biology Of Trauma, the Walsh Protocol for mental health, bioindividual nutrition, and she is a certified Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS) Practitioner.
She is also a certified teacher with bachelor's and master's degrees in Education.
Jess has worked with children and families since 1998. She has appeared as a featured nutrition expert on various online summits, courses and expert panels and is a regular contributor to various blogs and magazines. She has taught at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Ottawa and currently serves on the board of CAHN-pro. She is a member in good standing of the Canadian Association for Nutritional Professionals also an associate member of the International Society for Nutritional Psychiatry Research.
